Make Money From Your Woodlot
(At Least Lower Your Cost On Owning It)
In this 2-hour workshop for family or private forest landowners learn about programs to reduce ownership costs, income tax deductions on management expenses and sales, funding assistance for projects, timber sales, hunting leases, preservation easements, and non-timber forest products like balsam boughs and birch sticks. You’ll develop a personal action plan.
Bring a 8.5 x 1 1 aerial photo of your woodlot (Google Maps) that you can draw on, a note pad, and a pen. Preparation homework: Get familiar with the American Forest Foundation My Land Plan website.
